Updates

A lot has happened over the past few months in regards to the building...we were able to get approvals from the Town Council on the legal documents that we needed. That was a huge hurdle to clear. So we own the property and the Town has approved our plans to not have to connect to city water/sewer until we redevelop the site.

Over the past few months, much work has been done (and is still ongoing) in regards to renovating the buildings and grounds. It looks as if the contractor will be finished with interior renovations in the next couple of weeks. Our initial landscaping work has been completed, and more work in that area will be done next Spring. The last main pressing issue to what to do about a water supply. The site has an existing well that is functioning, and may supply our short term needs. Right now we have to have a state licensed professional engineer verify that the well can supply our anticipated needs. The engineer has to verify this with the county or state, who in turn has to confirm the findings with the Town. At that point, we could then receive our Certificate of Occupancy (C.O.) and occupy the building (the septic system inspections and approvals are already completed). This could take several weeks or months depending on how long the state or county takes to process the paperwork.

We are hopeful that things could happen soon enough so that we could occupy the building by Christmas. We should know more by the end of this week.

May God use us, and this building, to build His Kingdom and bring honor, glory, praise and renown to His Name!
